Emergency Medical Technician (On-Call Part-Time) Lancaster County is accepting applications for the positions of part-time Emergency Medical Technicians. Under the supervision of the Chief of Emergency Services, the successful applicant will perform a variety of duties to include providing staffing for Emergency Medical Services in Lancaster County, assist with the public education programs and other duties as assigned. The positions are primarily weekend work and may include some holidays. Minimum Training and Experience: High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 or more years as a certified Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC) and CPR certifications. Advanced Life Support provider certification preferred but not required. The applicant must pass a physical examination certifying the ability to perform the work of an Emergency Medical Technician. The applicant must have an acceptable criminal history, valid driver's license and Virginia DMV record. The applicant must agree to occasional evening and call back work during times of emergencies. Salary: $11.78 per/hour. Interviews are expected to begin on or about October 15, 2007. The positions remain open until filled.
