Voters in May 5th Town Elections Encouraged to Vote Absentee

Last Update: 3/31/2020

The health and wellbeing of our dedicated staff, as well as our voters are our number one priority. In an effort to reduce the spread of the coronavirus and protect the health and safety of our voters and staff, the Lancaster County Voter Registration Offices are encouraging the use of absentee voting by mail, using the absentee code 2A with COVID-19 as the reason.

County offices are currently open, however, access may be suspended to all offices in the near future. Please be advised the deadline to request a ballot by mail for the May Town election(s) is April 28th.

You can request an absentee ballot online at www.elections.virginia.gov  or the "Downloads" section on Voter Registration web page. You may also email or call us to request the application for a mailed ballot.  Our office phone number is 804-462-5277.  Our email is vote@lancova.com.

Please also note that we are currently focusing absentee requests on the May 5th, Town Elections for Irvington, Kilmarnock and White Stone. There will also be a June Dual Primary on June 9th. You may request an absentee ballot for this election, as well, at this time using the same 2A code and reason.
