Replacement of Roof on Lancaster County Correctional Center
The Lancaster County Correctional Center is a 24/7 facility built in 1978. The facility houses the Sheriff’s Office Administration and houses inmates for Lancaster County. The Correctional Center will be accepting bids from qualified contractors to replace the existing flat roof that covers the housing unit for the jail.

Bids will be due by January 8, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. Proposals may be received in person, Parcel Post, Fed Ex, or UPS. Proposals received after the above-mentioned date and time will not be considered. Proposals submitted to this invitation will be opened in the County Administration Board Meeting Room, 8311 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster, VA 22503 at 4 P.M. on January 8, 2026. Interested parties are welcome to observe the opening, but a decision will not be made, nor opinion offered, until final review by the Lancaster County Correctional Center. The Lancaster County Correctional Center reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any formalities. Lancaster County is an equal opportunity employer.
